Major Programme of Strategic Command Training to the Indian Police Service

In 2010 – 2012 BGS was commissioned to support Cambridge University deliver a major programme of strategic command training to the most senior levels of the Indian Police Service at the National Police Academy in Hyderabad.

Over a period of two years 500 officers of Inspector General and Deputy Inspector General rank completed the programme. It covered all major aspects of policing including counter terrorism, counter corruption, tackling organised crime as well as key organisational and social aspects of security and policing. After initial evaluation the Indian Government made the programme compulsory for officers at these ranks.
